Visitor Berthing

 

Visitor berthing is available for boaters who are enjoying all the delights that the D’Entrecasteaux Channel has to offer.

For boats up to 18M there are numbered pens at the northern end of the attenuator. For boats over 18M in length or if all the pens are occupied please tie-up alongside the straight section of the attenuator.

Please read and adhere to the conditions listed below. We trust you will enjoy your stay with us and don’t hesitate to get in touch if you require any further information.

  • Do not berth in pens displaying an “in use” sign
  • You are welcome to berth free of charge for up to 3 hours.
  • Vessels wishing to stay longer will need to pay the appropriate fee as follows:
    • Overnight charge is $35.00 and entitles you to stay for 24 hrs. includes power and water.
    • Day charge is $20.00 and entitles you to stay for up to 10 hrs during daylight hours to carry out minor maintenance, visit the café etc. Includes power and water.
    • If you are staying for the free 3 hrs and fill your water tanks we would appreciate a small payment as all water to this facility has to be trucked in. Please pay $5.00 for each 100 litres taken or part thereof. This can be placed in the Honesty Box outside office hours.
    • Fees can be paid at the marina office during office hrs (9.00am to 4.00 pm weekdays ). For payments outside these hours there is an honesty box mounted at the exit of the attenuator. If you do not have any cash please call us during office hours to pay by credit card. This area is under 24 x 7 video surveillance. Please be honest.

                   Failure to pay will result in future exclusion from all marina facilities.

  • When you vacate your berth at the end of your stay please display the “Vacant” sign.
  • For stays longer than a few days contact the office on 6272 4418 for information on weekly or longer term rates.
  • Minor maintenance only to be carried out in visitor berths. Absolutely no grinding, power sanding, welding or spray-painting.
